The Jordan Sands Community Fund has announced the creation of a new scholarship program with South Central College – North Mankato Campus Foundation. The Jordan Sands Community Fund scholarship will be an annual scholarship of $2,500 to the Mechatronics Engineering Technology program at the North Mankato Campus of South Central College. The scholarship will be payableto the recipient over two semesters in the amount of $1,250 per semester.
Scholarships will be awarded to returning, high-performing students who have a GPA of 3.0or above and preference will be given to students with prior mineral or mining processingexperience. The Foundation’s Scholarship Selection Committee with input from the program faculty will determine the recipients.
Applications will be accepted by the South Central College – North Mankato Campus Foundation with the first scholar to be announced in Fall of 2014.
